Problem Statement

The program should print the smaller of two numbers - but it prints the bigger one. This program has a mistake - find it and submit the fixed version.

a_str = input()
a = int(a_str)
b_str = input()
b = int(b_str)
if a > b:
    print(a)
else:
    print(b)

Input Format

Two whole numbers a and b, each on its own line (-1000 <= a, b <= 1000).

Output Format

One number - the result.
